I picked up the items before reading the letter, and I couldn't complete the objective. (I didn't finish the game, because this type burns my CPU like hell)
Hello, thanks for trying to play, and thanks for comments. I agree with you, game is not optimized, I have plans to at least make it little bit performant.
As for the objectives you should be able to pre-complete with items picking, basically you are not allowed to go without gun, flashlight and batteries.
This one's pretty cool, man. I enjoyed it. That ending was looking pretty weird. And that first hallway hella reminded me of PT. Do you plan on adding to this one day? I'd love to see more!
Wow Masterkeef, great of you for playing my microgame. I didn't have a plan for this game as it was planned as a game jam submission. I've noticed interest these days and that's the only reason I have a plan for some performance fixes and ending scenes that I didn't have time to complete. Who knows, maybe I'll keep working on it.
This had a very strong opening. The creepy door with the blood was great, and the lightning was well done. We had some trouble getting into the vent for some reason, and found that the variable framerate + turn speed actually gave us a little motion sickness. Besides that, it was neat and the final room was a fun discovery

The stairs scene nearly scared my pants off.
Bit short, but the atmosphere was nailed!

Thanks, Hertz, I'm baking meshes. Later, I'll be doing occlusion culling to fix the frame rate issues you've been experiencing.
You scared me!
I jumped big time at least twice. And a third little jump too. Excellent job.
I loved the lighting. Excellent balance between too dark and too light. Tough to pull off in a horror game.
It gave me some ideas for our entry… too late now though.
Great job!
Thank you, Wizard, you cheered me up with your comments as I was disappointed that I didn't manage to submit my game in time.
